For corporate events, I also consider how you will use the photographs afterwards. Do you need to show the brand, venue, participants or introduce the next event? We agree on key shots beforehand so the report serves your purpose.
At private celebrations, the main story is in the relationships between people. I capture shared moments, reactions and details that bring back the atmosphere of the day.
